LG New Chocolate Slide

Sounding like the brainchild of Willy Wonka, LG’s New Chocolate Slide mobile phone is actually aimed at a very different audience: sophisticated international fashionistas! The Slide is as beautiful as a catwalk model, with an elegant piano black and copper orange façade that would wow even the most discerning glitterati. It’s also very well built with buttons flush to its body and a solid and true sliding mechanism. Sadly though, it seems a case of style over substance. The bright, clear screen and decent 5MP camera redeem an otherwise run-of-the-mill feature list and average user interface experience. Keep an eye on the availability of the Slide’s big sister, the New Chocolate, which is superior in all departments. Oliver Newbery
