Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
In rock star heaven it would be Hendrix, Doors, Stones, Bowie and Zeppelin playing all day and night for eternity. Your only MC, concierge and confidante would have to be Perry Farrell. At 52, he’s still a firecracker of freedom and positivity and this album is proof positive of that. Actually, the fact this is a ‘new’ album is mind-blowing; you can imagine it blaring through the stereo in ’99. It’s a wash of psychedelic mantras and floating vocals over a menagerie of complex instrumentation that locomotives itself into the cortex of love. It’s summer, and an endless one at that. By Chris Murray.
